Resumo

The article presents and evaluates a peacebuilding contribution between Christianity and Islam in Lebanon through the Adyan Foundation. It realizes its importance, influence and resonance at the political, social, educational and religious levels. Fulfilled 12 years of existence, its multi-religious strategic plan until 2026 includes education and spirituality work with young people, families, collaborators and diplomats, with specific and global focuses. All of its programs aim to motivate and experience peace work in the fields of culture and education, as well as in religious discourses and the media. Experiences and planning range from asylum for Syrian children in Lebanon to the organization of educational divisions of the Institute of Citizenship and Diversity Management in Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan and Morocco. This testifies to the possibility of building a more plural and peaceful world not only in the Arab world.
